Make Money by Saving Your Time
The proper management of your time can be tricky sometimes. When you work from home this could be a big problem which will inevitably affect your work. Even though this alternative can have a lot of advantages, there are still some things which you need to consider like the constant distractions, for instance.
Unfortunately, there is no way you can get rid of all distractions but this article can help you learn not to pay attention to them and to avoid them every time when possible.
If you want to be a successful blogger, digital business owner or an entrepreneur, you will have to learn to be more concentrated. As a person who will be constantly at home, you will face different kinds of distractions all the time. You have to be responsible and not let the cleaning, the telephone, the cat or anything else make you lose focus of your tasks for the day.
The fact that you are at home doesn’t mean that you have the whole time in the world to deal with your other domestic obligations like the cleaning of the rooms or the laundry. Leave the dishes and everything else which needs cleaning for later. You have to think about your work and nothing else, otherwise you won’t be able to get anything done.
When you put aside the cleaning and your other responsibilities you will discover that you can be even more productive when you work from home than from the office. It is important to stay focused and follow the tips which we will give you.
Don’t pick up the phone
People may call you all day but doesn’t mean that you have to answer every time. Remember that every phone call can take precious minutes from your day which means that you may have to work overtime, in order to get everything done. The Caller ID will help you sort the important calls and you can return the rest when you are done working for the day.
Keep your desk always organised
Many people lose precious time every morning to organise their desks. You, however, don’t have to be one of them. Make sure that you take care of all the documents, folders and materials right away, instead of leaving them for the last minute. If that’s not possible, then do this at the end of the day when you are free. Also don’t cover your desk with items which you barely use because they can make your work harder.
Separate the important emails from the spam
You can find the organising of your email very challenging because of all the extra materials and useless spam which people send you. In order to save time, you can set up a special filter which will show you which emails are really worth reading. You can respond to the urgent and more important ones immediately, so that you don’t forget them after they get mixed up with your new emails.
Forget about the social networking sites
Undoubtedly, one of the biggest distractions comes from websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others. Unless it is something related to your work, we advise you to try and not open them during the day. You can easily become distracted by messages from your friends or some news but this will only make you lose important time.
You will be surprised how much work you can do when you are at home. If you learn to ignore the distractions and focus on your projects, you will not only finish all of your daily tasks faster but will also have some extra time left. You will be less stressed and won’t have to worry about the deadlines or the quality of your work.

Hi Muba,
In Tamilnadu, we always used to say “Time is Gold”, this is the golden words most often used by our ancestors. This is not false. They said this because, we have to convert the time in to gold by using them properly.
