Even they provide free education and food to children, we can’t find more students in Government Schools, because of the attraction towards private schools. To divert the craze towards private schools, they announced the act called as RTE.

What is RTE?

The acronym of RTE is Right to Education Act. It is also called as Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, it is enacted by the Parliament of India on August 4, 2009. This act describes the importance of Free Education for Children between 6 and 14 Years old in India. It comes under the Article 21A of Indian Constitution.
