I’m standing on the landing in the stairwell at work. I am stepping off the landing to the first step, when the dizziness hits me. I grab for the handrail but I’m so dizzy I can’t seem to find it. I’m terrified, and I feel my legs and hands begin to tremble. I try to lean back from the edge, but the dizziness overwhelms me and I can’t control my body. I feel myself tipping forward. I try desperately to lean away from the step, but I’m so confused that I lean forward instead.
