An easy way to reset your predictometer is to test the accuracy of the predictions you make when you’re feeling anxious and worried. Because your pattern of anxious thinking has you trapped into seeing things in a particular way, you might not often stop to ask yourself two important questions: What prediction am I making? and How likely is it that this prediction is accurate? Using the worksheet in exercise 5.3, you’ll track not only your predictions, but also their accuracy.
