At the end of two months, Tyra had quite a list. Of the thirty-seven anxious predictions that she had made, only one had come true (her mother had caught Tyra’s cold). As the number of check marks increased every week, Tyra saw how often she over predicted the likelihood that something bad would happen. Learning this helped her take her worries less seriously and to step out of the anxiety box for a bit whenever she found herself worrying too much and for too long.
