Neem oil is extensively used in agriculture as eco-friendly insecticide and fungicide. Application of Neem oil directly on plants is impossible as oil doesn’t mix with water, so emulsifier have to be added with oil, to make the oil mix with emulsifier and water. It is also called as wetting agent or surfactant or spreading agent or penetrating agent. Emulsifier is capable of reducing the surface tension of a liquid in which it is dissolved.
