That’s an excellent post from Rick. I haven’t started creating any kind of app as yet but one of my business partners has 9 on the app store.
As an iPhone user I think it’s really important that Apple are so strict with what they allow. After all it’s their platform and they’re being considerate of their customers, which is an absolute must.
I’ve heard stories of some app’s being able to charge silly amounts of money when people hit upgrade, normally aimed at children’s games. I think this should be approached by Apple as well and could be reduced by adding a feature where people (adults, parents) have to sign in to agree to upgrades before they’re able to upgrade.
